Our Associates in sunny St. Petersburg, FL, gather for prayer and fellowship at Maria Manor, a Bon Secours short and long-term care rehabilitation facility in St. Petersburg. Other times they meet in their homes or join together for community social justice projects. Sister Fran Gorsuch is the group’s Liaison Sister and visits them several times a year to offer support and guidance. This group of dedicated Associates are part of the Good Help offered by Bon Secours to those in need in their area of Florida, as nurses, administrators, secretaries, teachers and agents of pastoral care in the places where they serve. “Divine providence watches over us and will never abandon us; let us cast our cares and worries into Its hands. It is only right that communities should have some crosses; this is a sign that they are agreeable to the Lord. God has His plans and we should revere them no matter how mysterious they may seem to us and we should not lose the fruit of all the sacrifices imposed on us. Like our dear Mother in heaven, let us love the Lord’s plans and believe that in eternity we will regain what man’s injustice will have deprived us of here below.”Mere Geay 3
